Nancy Hays Hills
Nancy Hays Hills is an artist and Episcopal deacon living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Her working career was in the field of advertising and graphic design, from which she retired in 2020 to devote more time to her dual vocations of ministry and art. She shares a home with her husband Julian, and her trusty feline sidekick, Samantha, who has been known to make her presence known during Zoom meetings.
Although she’s been drawing ever since she could hold a crayon, she took her first formal art classes beginning in the fifth grade through the Tam O’Shanter program at Carnegie-Mellon University, and continued with them through high school graduation. It was also there that she took her first calligraphy class in 1974.
